What is this Valuetown™ tournament? Players have been asking about it today, so we thought we should clear up a few things.
First of all, it's a steal. Any player who subscribes to PokerAtlas Pro, which is a great product anyway, gets $30 off their first entry into the Valuetown™ Event. And you can get PokerAtlas Pro for $5 a month! If you don't like it after a month, cancel and you still saved $25 and got a free month of PokerAtlas Pro. But the folks at PokerAtlas are convinced that you're going to love it.
What Is PokerAtlas Pro?
While we use PokerAtlas Pro ourselves, it's a valuable tool for both players and reporters, we did a little digging to find out about all the features, some of which were a surprise to us.

And What Is the Valuetown™ Tournament?
The event itself features twelve starting flights over five days, with day two on May 11th, and a $200,000 guarantee. This thing is going to be a monster!
Cash For Multiple Bags?
That's right. In case there wasn't enough value in this beast, players who bag multiple flights will be awarded $2,000 for the extra bag and the larger bag moves on. And players can do this as many times as they can find a bag. We know the grinders are going to love that!

Faces Of TCH - Event #2

After starting the final table with less than ten big blinds, John Ross tore through the field like a Texas Tornado, finishing off the final table in record time and taking home the first Atlas trophy of the new season — and almost eighteen thousand dollars. Congratulations, John!
Event #1 - $400 Kick-Off — Wrap Up
Event #1 of the series got underway on Wednesday at Texas Card House Houston with the $400 Kick Off. The Kick Off event built to 206 entries and hit the $75,000 guarantee, setting up a nice payout slate for the 26 cashing players and $17,980 for the winner. The room was buzzing from the start as PokerAtlas runs a smooth operation and tournament director Justin Hammer and his staff know how to keep the action moving through an excellent structure.
Early on, stacks began to separate and several players pushed past the 150,000 mark by the second break, signaling an aggressive pace. Notable faces in the room included Texas mainstay Scott Dulaney, the WSOP bracelet winner known as Fireman Scott, and rising Austin player Arthy Saravanan, who continues to add live reps after a fast start to her tournament career.
The money bubble was short, bursting after just two hands of hand-for-hand play, and the tournament quickly turned toward a same-night finish. A key momentum swing came with a timely double for Mazumdar, keeping him in the hunt as the pay jumps loomed.
At the first final table of the series, Kahraman Senvardarli arrived with the clear chip lead at 1,580,000, ahead of Tommy Trinh on 1,145,000 and George Karvounis on 965,000. With blinds at 25,000/50,000/50,000 no stack is safe for long, but Senvardarli held the reins.
Then it all fell apart and Ross took over. By the time he busted Senvardarli, Ross was the chip leader. 30 minutes later it was over and he hoisted the trophy.

We have reached our first final table of the series! While there is a dominant stack in Senvardarli with over a million and a half, the stacks are not as lopsided as some final tables and it's really anyone's game. With blinds at 25k/50k/50k, the four biggest stacks are quite comfortable, but no one can sit around for long.

We broke the bubble after only two hands of hand-for-hand play here at Texas Card House in Houston. We expect to finish this one tonight, with the lucky winner turning four hundred dollars into nearly eighteen thousand.
Arthy Saravanan, known at the tables as "Pokerprinces99," hails from Austin, Texas, and has been playing poker for less than a year. Her journey into poker began with casual home games, which quickly escalated to live games and participation in major series like the WSOP Circuit. Saravanan's most notable achievement to date is finishing fourth in the WSOP Circuit Austin Lonestar ring event, earning $8,130. In addition to this impressive finish, she has cashed in three other WSOP events and several ladies' events.
Outside of poker, Saravanan is a physician, balancing her high-pressure career with the strategic challenges of poker. She appreciates the analytical and skill-based nature of the game, contrasting it with other forms of gambling. Before her poker endeavors, she held the title of Mrs. India International 2014, and she humorously notes her transition from pageant queen to poker princess.
We've got some big stacks brewing in this one, including four players already over 150,000.
