Abhinav Iyer is an Indian professional poker player born in Chennai, India, who later moved to Melbourne, Australia for higher education and began playing regularly at Crown Casino. He has accumulated $1,607,796 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob and holds one World Series of Poker bracelet, won in The Closer event ($1,500 No-Limit Hold'em) at the 2019 WSOP for $565,346 — the first solo WSOP bracelet won by an Indian player. Earlier in 2019, he also won the Asian Poker Tour Ho Chi Minh City Main Event for $98,055.
