Alan Goehring

Alan Goehring (born February 21, 1962) is an American professional poker player from Henderson, Nevada, who worked for many years as a junk bond analyst and trader before turning to poker at age 37. He won the inaugural World Poker Tour Championship in Season 1, becoming the first WPT player to cash for over $1 million on the tour, and also won the WPT L.A. Poker Classic that same season for a combined haul of $2,391,550. He finished 2nd in the 1999 WSOP Main Event for $768,625. He won his first WSOP bracelet in the 2020 WSOP Online $500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout. He has accumulated over $5,300,000 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob.
