Andy Black

Andy Black (born July 20, 1965) is a professional poker player from Belfast, Northern Ireland, who resides in Dublin, Ireland, and holds a law degree from Trinity College Dublin. He has accumulated $5,224,237 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. His most notable tournament result came at the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he finished 5th for $1,750,000. Following disappointing results in the late 1990s, he spent approximately five years living in a semi-monastic Buddhist community in England before returning to professional poker in 2004.
