Damian Salas is an Argentine professional poker player and attorney from Chascomús, Argentina. He holds one World Series of Poker bracelet, won in the uniquely structured 2020 WSOP Main Event — a COVID-era event split between an international leg on GGPoker (674 entries) and a domestic leg on WSOP.com (705 entries), with Salas winning the international leg and then defeating U.S. champion Joseph Hebert in a live heads-up finale of 173 hands to claim the title and $2,550,969 in total prize money, becoming the first Argentine WSOP Main Event champion. He has accumulated $4,597,671 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob.
