Darvin Moon
Darvin Moon (October 1, 1963 – September 19, 2020) was an American amateur poker player and self-employed logger from Oakland, Maryland. He qualified for the 2009 WSOP Main Event through a $130 satellite and finished runner-up to Joe Cada for $5,182,382 after entering the November Nine final table as chip leader. Moon returned to his logging business in Maryland following the tournament. He passed away on September 19, 2020, following complications from surgery, at the age of 56. His total live tournament earnings were approximately $5,210,576.
