David

David, known at the tables as "TophatGrinder," hails from Bellingham, Washington, and has been immersed in the world of poker for 36 years. He first got into the game at the age of 21, playing in a card room at the back of the Grove Tavern, where players would deal their own hands and choose the game. David's most notable poker achievement came in a Triple Triple Draw event at the Orleans, where he secured a prize of approximately $5,000. He attributes part of his success to lessons learned from Alex Livingston on the Jonathan Little site. Outside of poker, David serves as a rural development coordinator for his NGO, E3, in Malawi, Africa, and also works as a farmer, describing himself as semi-retired. Recently, he has discovered the mixed game community, which he finds engaging and entertaining, further fueling his passion for the game.
