Gaelle Baumann

Gaelle Baumann was born in 1983 in Strasbourg, France, and is a French professional poker player. She holds two master's degrees, one in English linguistics and literature and one in translation. She began playing poker in 2007 while living in Perth, Australia. She finished 10th at the 2012 WSOP Main Event for $590,442, the best female performance in the event in over 17 years at the time. She was also the last woman standing in the 2016 WSOP Main Event, finishing 102nd for $49,108. Her total live tournament earnings exceed $1,200,000.
