JJ Liu

JJ Liu (Joanne Liu) is a Taiwanese-American professional poker player born in 1965 in Taiwan. She has accumulated $3,971,899 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. She won the 2006 WPT Ladies Night IV. She finished 2nd in the 2007 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars Championship for $600,000. She was inducted into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame in 2012. Before poker, she worked as a software engineer in Silicon Valley after earning a master's degree in computer engineering from Bradley University.
