John Gale

John Gale was born on December 13, 1953, in London, England, and was an English professional poker player who spent 20 years in management consultancy before taking up Texas Hold'em in mid-2004. In 2005, he won the WPT PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event for $890,600 in his first major live tournament after qualifying via an online satellite. He won two WSOP bracelets: the 2006 $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em event and the 2015 $1,000 Turbo No-Limit Hold'em event for $298,290. His total live tournament earnings were approximately $3,900,000. He passed away on November 18, 2019.
