Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan is an American professional poker player born in 1957 in Guangzhou, China, who emigrated to the United States and settled in Houston, Texas. He has accumulated $8,796,313 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob and holds 10 World Series of Poker bracelets. Chan won the WSOP Main Event in back-to-back years, 1987 and 1988, and finished second at the 1989 WSOP Main Event. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2002. Chan appeared as himself in the 1998 film Rounders.
