Johnny Moss

Johnny Moss was an American professional poker player born on May 14, 1907, in Marshall, Texas, who died in December 1995. He holds nine World Series of Poker bracelets and won the WSOP Main Event in 1970, 1971, and 1974; the 1970 championship was determined by a vote of his peers rather than a freezeout tournament. He was one of the charter inductees into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1979.
