Kara Scott is a Canadian journalist, television presenter, and poker player born in northern Alberta, Canada. She has accumulated $664,795 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. Her largest live cash came at the 2009 Irish Poker Open, where she finished second for $413,612. She is one of two women in history to have cashed in two separate WSOP Main Events, finishing 104th in 2008 for $41,816 and 238th in 2009. She served as the television host for the European Poker Tour during the 2007-2008 season and has worked as a poker broadcaster and brand ambassador for several major poker sites.
