Masaaki Kagawa is a Japanese poker player and businessman from Tokyo, Japan, who was formerly president of the IT firm Koei Planning. He has accumulated $1,522,448 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. Notable results include a 3rd-place finish at the 2007 Aussie Millions A$100,000 No-Limit Hold'em event for $198,820, and a 7th-place finish at the 2008 EPT London £20,000 High Roller for $157,475. In 2013, Kagawa was arrested by Japanese authorities and charged with running an Android malware operation used to harvest personal contact data from mobile devices.
