Mike Sexton

Michael Richard Sexton (September 22, 1947 – September 6, 2020) was an American professional poker player and television commentator. He holds one World Series of Poker bracelet, won in the 1989 $1,500 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event. In November 2016, he won the World Poker Tour Montreal Main Event for his first WPT title, overcoming a 10-to-1 chip deficit in heads-up play. He accumulated $6,708,146 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2009. Outside poker, Sexton co-founded and served as chairman of PartyPoker.com, at one time one of the largest online poker sites in the world, and served as the lead WPT television commentator for fifteen seasons.
