Norman Chad
Norman Chad (born 1958) is an American sportswriter and television commentator born in Silver Spring, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1981 and has written the nationally syndicated humor column "The Couch Slouch" for The Washington Post since 1995, offering satirical commentary on sports and pop culture. Since 2003, he has served as the color commentator for ESPN's World Series of Poker coverage alongside play-by-play announcer Lon McEachern. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 American Poker Awards.
