Olivier Busquet
Olivier Busquet (born August 22, 1981) is an American professional poker player from New York City, who studied philosophy at Cornell University. He has accumulated $9,314,688 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. Busquet first gained recognition as an online specialist in heads-up Sit & Go's before transitioning to live tournaments, where he won the 2009 WPT Borgata Poker Open for $925,514, overcoming a 20:1 chip disadvantage during heads-up play. He finished second at the 2010 EPT Grand Final High Roller in Monaco for €597,000, and won the EPT Barcelona €50,000 Super High Roller in 2014 for €896,434. In 2016, Busquet won a $150,000 prop bet MMA match against fellow poker pro JC Alvarado by technical knockout in round 3.
