Phil Hellmuth is an American professional poker player born on July 16, 1964, in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds 17 World Series of Poker bracelets, the all-time record, and has accumulated $30,951,236 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. At age 24, Hellmuth won the 1989 WSOP Main Event, becoming the youngest Main Event champion in history at the time. In 2012, he won the WSOP Europe Main Event for his 13th bracelet, becoming the first player to win both the WSOP and WSOPE Main Events. He is the only player in history to have won WSOP bracelets in five different decades. Hellmuth was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2007.
