Puggy Pearson

Puggy Pearson (Walter Clyde Pearson) was an American professional poker player born on January 29, 1929, who died on April 12, 2006. He holds four World Series of Poker bracelets, including the 1973 WSOP No-Limit Hold'em Main Event championship. In the 1973 WSOP series, he won three bracelets, setting a single-series record that stood until 1993. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1987.
