Sam Trickett

Sam Trickett (born July 2, 1986) is an English professional poker player from East Retford, Nottinghamshire. He has accumulated $21,818,057 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. He turned to poker in 2005 after a knee injury ended his career as a professional footballer. His largest cash came at the 2012 WSOP Big One for One Drop ($1,000,000 buy-in), where he finished second for $10,112,001, making him Great Britain's all-time leading live tournament earner at the time. He also won the 2008 GUKPT Luton Main Event for $215,178.
