Scotty Nguyen
Scotty Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player born on October 28, 1962, in Nha Trang, Vietnam, who emigrated to the United States at age 14 and settled in California. He holds five World Series of Poker bracelets, most notably at the 1998 WSOP Main Event and the 2008 WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship. He also won the World Poker Tour Gold Strike World Poker Open in 2006 for $969,421, defeating Michael Mizrachi heads-up. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2013. He has accumulated $12,748,090 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob.
