Tony Bloom

Anthony Grant Bloom MBE (born March 20, 1970) is an English sports gambler and poker player nicknamed "The Lizard," who grew up in Brighton and holds a degree in mathematics from Manchester University. He won the 2004 Aussie Millions Main Event for AUD 426,500 and finished runner-up at the 2011 Aussie Millions for $964,296. In September 2022, he won the Poker Masters Event #8 $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha for $360,000. His total live tournament winnings exceeded $3,800,000 as of October 2022 per The Hendon Mob. Outside poker, he is the majority owner and chairman of Premier League football club Brighton & Hove Albion.
