Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang is a Chinese professional poker player who competed at the WSOP from 2015 through 2019, then retired before returning to the game in 2023. At the 2023 WSOP, he won Event #44: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $717,879, his first WSOP bracelet. During Day 3 of that event, Zhang experienced a cardiac episode that lasted approximately two hours; he continued play, reached the final table, and won the championship. His total live tournament earnings are approximately $3,635,069.
