The Bounty Round Up event here at Texas Card House is a new format for us, and players seem to love it. Each player has a bounty chip and when you bust a player, you get their bounty chip. When the tournament reaches the final table, the player or players who have the most bounty chips wins 10% of the prize pool.

This makes for some interesting strategy choices as the final table approaches. If you have a significant lead in bounty chips approaching the final table, folding aces preflop is a snap if the stack is big enough to hurt or bust you. And if you have the player with the most bounty chips covered, and you have the second most bounty chips, it might be correct to go all-in every time they play a pot. This unique payout structure would have ICM calculators smoking and shorting out from all the permutations!
