The action has begun at Jackpot Junction, where Flight 1B of the Roughrider Main Event is underway. With 60,000 starting chips and 40 minute levels, late registration still leaves players with time to build a stack before bagging at around 11 pm.
The day's qualifier is still running next door. 39 players are battling for seven Main Event seats. The eighth place finisher leaves with $512 in cash. Once those seven players punch their tickets, they will head straight into the Main Event field, or grab a ticket for tomorrow's final flight.
Late registration is open until 9 pm tonight, so expect the tournament room to keep filling all afternoon and into the evening. Players who don't find a bag today can take another shot at it in Flight 1C tomorrow at noon. Day plays down to a winner on Sunday.
