Trung Pham got the the big side of a chop, but Gabriel Andrade doesn't usually agree to a deal unless it involves taking the trophy home for his son. It was late, and everyone wanted to get a deal done, so Andrade took the trophy and the photo and they called it a night. This multi-flight PLO event was a huge success, generating a prize pool of over $111,000 with crazy day 1 action in multiple flights.

Event #4 - $400 Multi-Flight PLO — Wrap Up

Texas Card House Houston delivered the expected fireworks as the PokerAtlas Tour $400 Pot-Limit Omaha event surged past its $100,000 guarantee, drawing 339 total entries to build a $111,870 prize pool. With re entries flying in from the opening levels and stacks swinging wildly, the early flights were completely wild.

Early action set the tone, including a three way all-in preflop collision where A Q 7 7 faced T 9 8 5 and Q 8 7 5. The A hit the flop and one pair held to scoop a massive pot and send two players to the rebuy line.

The pay jumps were big at the final table, and the late stages featured plenty of pressure spots as short stacks fought to ladder. After hours of play, Trung Pham got the big side of the chop for $19,470, with Andrade taking $15,755 and James Craven finishing third for $14,575.

As posted by Kyle Miller over at the TCH Tournament Blog

Players began to stand around Table 7 as three players tabled a multi-way all-in.

Sanjeev Vora: KcQc
Walter Lynch: ThTd (all-in)
Daniel Doan: AdKs (all-in)
Board: 9h9c2dQh7s

Sanjeev Vora had the worst of it until the Qh on the turn. Vora was the covering stack, so Doan and Lynch needed some help on the river to stay alive but the 7s sent both players to the rail in 69th and 70th respectively.

68 players remain as players approach their first break of the day.

Vora: 995,000
Doan: 69th - $620
Lynch: 70th - $620

Action is insane in this flight! We are watching players get all-in blind their first hand, and we just saw a three-way all-in preflop with T985, AQ77, and Q875. The AQ77 made a pair when the ace flopped and held to win a 90k pot. We are only in level 5 at 400/800 and have less than half of our original entries. Most of these are re-entries, with players going broke fast and rushing to rebuy.
