Dusty Schmidt

Dusty Schmidt, known online as "Leatherass," was an American poker player primarily known as a high-stakes online cash-game specialist. In 2007, he achieved PokerStars Supernova Elite status in just eight months. His estimated online poker earnings exceeded $3 million. He authored the poker books "Treat Your Poker Like a Business" and "Don't Listen to Phil Hellmuth." Schmidt passed away in December 2021 at the age of 40. Prior to poker, he had pursued a career in professional golf before a heart condition ended that pursuit.
