John Duthie
John Duthie (born May 13, 1958, in Yorkshire, England) is an English television director and poker player. He won the Poker Million televised event in 2000 for £1,000,000 (approximately $1,426,330), defeating Tony Bloom and Barny Boatman at the final table on the Isle of Man. He founded the European Poker Tour (EPT) in partnership with PokerStars and served as its CEO and Executive Producer from its inception until 2012, growing the tour to 12 stops per year in 10 countries. He later became President of the partypoker Live Tour. He has accumulated approximately $3,120,695 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob. Outside poker, Duthie is an award-winning television director whose credits include Silent Witness and Clocking Off.
