Crandell Addington

Crandell "Dandy" Addington (June 2, 1938 – April 14, 2024) was an American businessman and poker player born in Graham, Texas. He participated in the inaugural World Series of Poker in 1970 and made the final table of the WSOP No-Limit Hold'em Main Event seven times between 1972 and 1979, including runner-up finishes in 1974 (to Johnny Moss), 1976 (to Doyle Brunson), and 1978 (to Bobby Baldwin). He accumulated $162,350 in total live tournament earnings per The Hendon Mob, a figure that reflects primarily tracked modern events. He was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2005. Outside poker, Addington founded businesses in chemical manufacturing and oil and gas exploration over a four-decade entrepreneurial career, and served as CEO, Chairman, and Director of Phoenix Biotechnology.
